Each year, thousands of our neighbors, friends and family in the Lubbock area are touched by the professional care of the UMC Children’s Hospital and the UMC Southwest Cancer Center. All proceeds raised for the event will be split equally between the Children’s Miracle Network at UMC and the Celebrate Today Fund, benefiting patients of the UMC Southwest Cancer Center.
The UMC Children’s Hospital is a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network. 100% of funds raised stay right here in the South Plains and go to children’s services.
Through their partnership, UMC and Children’s Miracle Network have been able to provide state-of-the-art medical technology and comprehensive services to the children of the South Plains and Eastern New Mexico for almost 30 years.
The UMC Southwest Cancer Center is the premier cancer center in the region. In collaboration with the oncology experts at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, the SWCC offers the most advanced cancer care including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgical oncology and bone marrow transplant.
The SWCC’s Patient Advisory Committee recently established the “Celebrate Today” fund to help individual patients cover the cost of patient care items such as wigs, lymphedema sleeves and transportation. Your generous contributions all help to sustain this fund.
