IT Outage

October 4, 2024 – UMC continues to work around the clock with the assistance of our third-party firms to restore services securely and safely across our network. We expect to make substantial progress throughout the next few days.

UMC’s phone systems are now operating normally across the organization. Our healthcare facilities remain open and are providing safe care across all access points including Emergency Centers and Urgent Care Clinics. UMC’s Emergency Center continues to accept patients via ambulance, and now only a select number of patients are being diverted. Additionally, our new 24/7 Urgent Care Clinic at Health & Wellness Hospital was able to proceed with its scheduled official opening on October 1st and is accepting patients for care.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. We remain committed to minimizing any disruption to our patients and will continue to keep our patients and community updated on our progress.

We would like to thank our patients and community for your ongoing support during this time. Our priority remains providing exceptional care to our patients, and our teams are working diligently to restore full operations as safely and quickly as possible.
