A range of symptoms can occur while undergoing your cancer treatment. At the UMC Cancer Center, we want to help you be proactive in managing your symptoms during treatment. That’s why we opened our Adult Oncology Symptom Management Clinic! This after-hours clinic is catered to meet your needs and keeps you from having to wait in the Emergency Center.

We can help you manage:

  • Pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Weakness
  • Dehydration
  • Uncontrolled nausea and vomiting
  • Fever

Other services provided:

  • Lab draws
  • Fluid and electrolyte replacement
  • Blood product transfusions
  • Antibiotic administration
  • Home infusion pump support
  • Standard diagnostic services
