UMC is hosting three Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center fellowships in burn and wound care, infectious disease, and interventional cardiology.
The fellowships pair highly skilled individuals with faculty members who are leaders within their specialties, noted Dr. Mike Ragain, Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President at UMC. "You have doctors who are on the very cutting edge of their field," he said.
UMC and TTUHSC collaborated closely to develop the three fellowships.
"We work with UMC to determine where there are areas of need for West Texas," noted J.Edward Bates, Senior Director and Designated Institutional Official for Graduate Medical Education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
