Employee Satisfaction Survey in Review
This year, we are adopting the business model of Common Review Dates for annual performance reviews/evaluations for employees. This allows leadership to create and communicate organizational and departmental goals based on year-end business results. With this change, employees will be goal-aligned, giving consistent direction throughout the organization and link their performance with the overall success of UMC Physicians.
Management reviews were completed during the first quarter and effective April 1st. For frontline employees, supervisors will complete all annual evaluations during April, May and June to be effective during July. This year is a little different since we have adjusted annual reviews to get everyone on the same schedule.
The strength of Common Review Dates is that they allow everyone to be evaluated based on year-end business results, to be goal-aligned, to work together as a team and to have consistent weighting on goals. This model was adopted by UMC Health System several years ago and has been extremely valuable in creating synergy among employees earning them top honors nationwide. We look forward to seeing the accomplishments we experience through having a goal-aligned workforce.
