Wellness Testing for the 2020 Health Insurance Premium discounts began Monday, August 12th. The deadline for completion of your lab work, Health Risk Assessment (HRA) and telephonic Care Management Consultation is Friday, September 20th. Based on your biometric/lab results, the IMS Wellness Works RN Care Manager may supply you with reasonable alternatives (RAS) for your completion to qualify for the Wellness premium. Reasonable alternatives (RAS) must be completed by October 4th.
Current and new employees that have enrolled in the UMCP medical plan may participate in this valuable program. Participation in this program is voluntary and includes: obtaining labs, a blood pressure reading, BMI measurements, completing an online Health Risk Assessment (HRA), participating in a telephonic Nurse Care Management Consultation, and completing IMS Wellness Works classes (if a reasonable alternative is needed). To complete the Wellness Program, you will be asked, during Open Enrollment (November timeframe), the nicotine disclosure question which is tracked in Lawson and Employee Navigator.

The Wellness Testing is offered free to you. This testing will give you a snapshot of your overall health. Again this year, your wellness reward is a reduction in your TeamChoice payroll deduction, effective the first payroll of 2020.
