IT Employees Host Gaming Marathon for CMN

A few of our IT employees have continued to take their love of video games to raise money by participating in Extra Life. Cory White, Brent Delashaw, Brent Cray and Travis Lipe formed a team in 2016 and have now participated in four gaming marathons for Extra Life! We are so thankful for their willingness to participate in Extra Life to raise money that directly goes into helping children at the UMC Children’s Hospital.

“We are happy to do anything we can to increase what Children’s Miracle Network is able to do for the kids at UMC Children’s Hospital,” said Brent Cray. “A great, simple way to do so is by playing our favorite games to raise money and awareness of CMN!”

This year, they raised $2,000!

Extra Life unites players around the world in a 24-hour gaming marathon to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since its inception in 2007, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for local CMN hospitals, like UMC.

We also were able to partner with Game Stop this year, to raise even more money.

The UMC Extra Life team is already making plans and preparations for next year’s gaming marathon.
