UMC Health System is pleased to announce that we have achieved the Healthgrades 2018 Outstanding Patient Experience Award. This distinction recognizes UMC among the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide, according to Healthgrades, the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals.

The Texas Department of State Health Services chose UMC for the 2017 Trauma Center Award. UMC was chosen due to its extensive support of other hospitals and trauma centers in the region.
