Service Development Patient Experience Graduate Internship

This non-clinical internship program is a unique opportunity we offer at UMC for graduate students pursuing a career in healthcare administration. We seek capable students who have a passion for customer service and will fit Service is Our Passion with ease. Students in this position will be responsible for auditing best practices throughout the hospital, rounding on patients, gathering information, way finding, supporting nursing units and working with various departments for quality improvement. The position requires a minimum of a semester commitment.

UMC Unit Extender Internship

This non-clinical internship program is a unique opportunity we offer at UMC for pre-allied health students pursuing a career in healthcare. Students in this position will be responsible for auditing best practices throughout an assigned unit, rounding on patients, shadowing nursing aides, gathering information, way finding, supporting nursing units and working with various units for quality improvement.  The program requires a 13 week commitment, working 8 hours per week during normal business hours.
