UMC Trauma & Burn Services is comprised of 14 employees—each of them working hard every day to make sure UMC maintains our Level 1 Trauma verification, our Pediatric Trauma Level II verification, and our Regional Burn center verification. All
of which is no easy feat.
“Our goal is to improve patient outcomes so trauma and burn patients receive the best care,” said Amanda Stabler, UMC Trauma and Burn Program Coordinator. “We evaluate opportunities for improvement and take steps to help UMC become a
highly reliable organization.
Trauma & Burn Services also provides in-services with nurses and collaborates with UMC EMS to go out into the community to provide education in hopes of preventing traumas and accidents.
Why do they do all of this? So our community knows they can always trust UMC with their care.
“We do what we do so that we can provide care to our patients that allows them to go back out into the community strong and impact the lives of others,” said Amber Tucker, Director of UMC Trauma & Burn Services.
Think about your why as it applies to your work. It’s then that you can truly put your heart and soul into it and show others that Service is Our Passion.
