UMC Clinic Spotlight: UMC Children’s Northwest

Jul 13th, 2021 | Latest News, News

Since its inception in 1996, UMC Physicians (UMCP) has grown to over 115
providers representing all primary care specialties – family practice,
internal medicine, and pediatrics, complemented with advanced practice
providers. UMCP also offers physicians specializing in Gastroenterology,
Pediatric Surgery, Allergy & Immunology, Obstetrics and Gynecology,
Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery, and Neurosurgery.

We have approximately 40 practice sites located throughout Lubbock and the
surrounding areas including: community health centers, private physician
practices, and urgent care clinics, open seven days a week. Combined, these
practices provide care to over 400,000 patients annually.

We’ve reserved this space to highlight one of these practices each
month!

UMC Children’s Northwest, formerly known as UMC Northwest Pediatrics,
has been serving the children of our community since 2016. From allergies and
colds to aches and sprains, we’ve got you covered!

This clinic offers extended hours because we know children don’t only
need care during the typical business day. We’re open Monday-Friday
8AM-8PM, Saturday 9AM-5PM, and Sunday 1PM-5PM.

What people have to say about us

“I’ve lived here in Lubbock for 2 + years now and this clinic has been
the best positive experience I’ve had yet!”

“We’ve had three doctor visits and no one would test my daughter
or do anything we felt was helpful. Finally at this clinic she was tested and
we got a treatment plan! Even though we came right before close, the ladies at
the front, nursing staff and physician were all amazing and they got us in and
out in an extremely reasonable time! I will definitely be recommending this
place to others.”

“Dr. Rupley and her staff are always so amazing!
