Newborn babies who need intensive medical attention are often admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Our distinguished Level IV NICU combines state-of-the-art technology and highly trained healthcare professionals to provide specialized care for our region’s children.

Providing care for our smallest patients requires precise skill, complex technology, specialized facilities, and passionate caregivers. UMC’s NICU facilities include a Level IV nursery, a neonatal air transport team, pre-discharge “Rooming In” services, and infant CPR training.
