“Coral had been working with a young man who had become non-verbal. She took the time to make a communication board for the patient with words in English and Spanish. On Father’s Day, Coral stayed with him after therapy and set up a video call with his family in Mexico. He was able to blow kisses to them and everyone cried tears of joy. This made the patient’s day, especially since it was Father’s Day! Coral went above and beyond to support this patient, and we appreciate her.”
