The UMC Heart Center serves as the region’s best location for heart-related conditions. The Heart Center is located on the sixth floor of UMC, and it combines various medical resources for patients into a single location. The UMC Heart Center is a regional hub for cardiac patients and their referring physicians, offering quick and easy access to a variety of cardiac-specialized care.
The UMC Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit nurses received The Beacon Award, given to select hospitals by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. The award honors individual units that distinguish themselves by improving every facet of patient care. This signifies exceptional care through improved outcomes and greater overall satisfaction.
If you already have a cardiologist, feel free to encourage their use of UMC’s facilities to service your care. A variety of community cardiologists use privileges at UMC to ensure patients get the best care possible to service their cardiac health concerns.
