We are excited to announce Workday Financials go live on January 1, 2022! This means we are moving away from Lawson and will begin efficiently managing all financial, purchasing, and inventory processes within Workday.
Here are just a few of the efficient functions that will Simplify Your Workday:
- Mileage Tracker
- Expenses/Reimbursements
- Travel Expenses
- Ordering Supplies
- Requisitions and PO’s
Employees will be able to use the Workday mobile app to complete many of these new functions. VPs, Directors, and Managers can also use the mobile app to expedite the approval process.
“We are excited to see the improvements that Workday will provide to our users,” said Terrell Thrasher, UMC Senior Vice President of Finance. “Our processes will become more efficient for Finance, Supply Chain, HR and IT as a whole now that the full suite will be implemented. Our staff will experience a more modern interface, intuitive workflows, and in some cases the ability to use their mobile device when needed.”
