The Dr. Rahman Difference

Dr. Rahman is a woman who understands, from a woman’s perspective, what it means to have external changes to things that identify us as women. She is compassionate in talking about these things, and she presents it in a way that gives hope.

The details are important. Dr. Rahman uses treatments that are proven, trustworthy, and that she has made sure are valid enough to bring to her patients.

She ensures her techniques for detecting/removing breast cancer are tried and true and are best for patients.

Dr. Rahman is certified in ultrasound and trained in ultrasound-guided surgery. This means she does not have to wait for a radiologist to scan patients after surgery to tell whether or not parts of tumors remain. She is able to see all parts and remove tumors/growths in one try.

Dr. Rahman is also trained in Oncoplastic Surgery. This means that whatever surgery is performed on the breasts is done well and the two sides match afterward.

Above all, her perspective is not just about the science behind the treatment, it’s about you as a person.
