Emergency Center at Health & Wellness

The Community Emergency Center at Health & Wellness is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to serve the needs of the Lubbock community, including examination, stabilization, diagnostics, and laboratory services.

The UMC Health & Wellness Emergency Center can diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses while relying on the main campus EC to handle patients beyond our resource capacity.

Our mission is to serve the community with efficiency while assisting with the main campus volume.

The staff consists of Level 1 Emergency Center-trained providers, nurses, and CNAs who care for patients of all ages and address all disease processes, while maintaining a Level 4 trauma accreditation at the Health & Wellness Campus.
