Clinical Lab

The Clinical Lab at UMC’s Health & Wellness Campus is a full-service clinical laboratory located in South Lubbock.

Phlebotomy services are available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. If you need labs drawn after hours, please call 806.742.6830 for assistance.

We offer on-site laboratory testing in the following specialties:

• Point of Care (Flu, COVID, glucose & other bedside testing)
• Hematology (CBC, platelet count, sedimentation rate)
• Urinalysis (UA and microscopic urine analysis)
• Coagulation (PT, PTT, Xa)
• Chemistry (Comprehensive metabolic panel, renal panel, hepatitis panel)
• Transfusion Services (Blood Type, antibody screen, antibody ID, all blood products)
• Outpatient Phlebotomy Services (Standard patient blood collections – no swabs, no COVID swabs, or infectious-type swabs – we aim to keep the waiting area as free as possible from infectious patients)
