Radiology involves imaging your body using ionizing radiation, which differs from MRI and ultrasound imaging, as they do not use ionizing radiation.

Through advanced imaging technology, we can see inside your body. Because some of these imaging techniques involve radiation, UMC Radiologists are trained in radiation safety and protection. Radiology is often crucial in achieving a diagnosis for a patient.

We offer both diagnostic and interventional imaging services, including pre-scheduled X-rays, CT scans, MRIs (3T & 1.5T), and general ultrasound imaging.
