UMC Calls for Blood Donations during Nationwide Shortage

Across the nation communities are experiencing critical blood shortages, including Lubbock. This time of the year can be difficult for people battling cancer, undergoing surgery or suffering from injuries in accidents. Dramatically low blood supply levels also leave the community vulnerable to crisis events that may require large numbers of transfusions.
