Our ANCC accredited with distinction Transition to Practice Program is an innovative curriculum designed to engage, support, and empower graduate nurses. Participation in the program will provide you with knowledge and tools to enhance your experience as you learn your new role within the UMC family.

UMC nurse residents meet monthly for six months with fellow graduate nurses going through many of the same new experiences.  Each month, class consists of various activities and topics, all geared toward professional growth.  The Transition to Practice Program aims to provide many hands-on learning experiences as well as professional development opportunities to support ongoing education, both on and off the floor.
