UMC Health System is a proud member of the LBK Community Network, and our Social Services Department has done a wonderful job joining smoothly! The LBK Community Network is a collaborative alliance of community-based organizations (CBOs) committed to working together to more effectively to improve the lives and well-being of those we serve.

UMC Home Health & Hospice Is Now Accepting Patients
Last year we shared with you that UMC Health System entered into a joint venture partnership with Amedisys, a leading provider of home health, hospice and personal care. We are now excited to announce the opening of UMC Home Health & Hospice, an Amedisys partner, which will serve patients in a 50-mile radius of Lubbock, including: Lubbock, Hale, Crosby, Lynn, Hockley, Lamb, Terry, Garza and Floyd Counties.

Always Nurse Celebration
Twice a year, we host a celebration for our Always Nurses: nurses perceived as always responsive and communicating well, as indicated on patient surveys—our first event of 2020 was in February.
Our Peer Support Team Always Has Your Back
UMC’s greatest asset is YOU, the employees who work here. Being a UMC Hero is not easy, and often times you battle in stressful situations which can interfere with the ability to function. The Peer Support Team at UMC is here to provide resources for these high stress situations.
