UMC & UMCP's Employee Newsletter

You Spoke, We Listened

Every year, you provide us valuable feedback to improve the care we provide to each other. Your engagement matters! I want you to enjoy an environment where you will feel supported, respected and where you have meaningful work.

Best in Breast Imaging

We are so excited to announce that the UMC Breast Imaging Center has been awarded the American College of Radiology (ACR) Breast Imaging Center of Excellence!

Safety is Our Priority

YOU spoke, WE listened! And as a result, we have planned certain safety improvements to the parking garage to add your safety.

Vaccines for #UMCHeroes

This year has been a long fight for all of us. Doctors and nurses are on the frontline with COVID patients, EVS has been working hard to keep our facility clean, staff from the Business and Technology Center have stepped up to help with temp checks at all entrances, and many more employees have helped during this long journey.

Happy CRNA Week!

The CRNAs primary responsibilities at UMC are to plan the amount and type of anesthesia needed—general, local, or regional—as well as the method for administering anesthesia, including injections, inhalants, and oral medication.

Christmas Cheer for COVID Patients

UMC spread Christmas cheer this holiday season by distributing stockings full of goodies and UMC blankets to our patients!

Partners in Education

With the help of UMC EMS and YOU, UMC delivered food bags to our sponsor school in the Partner’s in Education program, Brown Elementary.
