Why Service is Our Passion: NICU

A Neonatal ICU, or NICU, is a special ICU for newborns. The UMC NICU is a Level IV NICU, the highest designation for NICUs available in Texas. This means we provide the highest level of, and the most acute, care to neonatal patients.

Celebrating our Physicians

Recognizing and honoring our physicians is important to us! We HAD to make sure we could still honor our physicians with a banquet this year, so we went virtual.

Zero Heroes – August 2020

As most of you know, UMC has a goal of being a High Reliability Organization (HRO). This means, although we operate in high risk environments, we aim for ZERO preventable harm.

Box Tops for Brown Elementary

The Box Tops for Education™ program is changing the way we can earn cash for our Partners in Education School, Brown Elementary! Over the summer, participating brands have begun to change their packaging from the traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.
